In collaboration with BioDivWind
BionomeeX, in collaboration with Klanik and BioDivWind, co-developed an AI-powered solution to detect and monitor protected bird species around wind farms.
The project addresses the critical need to reduce avian mortality caused by wind turbines while maintaining sustainable energy production.

AI-Powered Bird Monitoring
The AI system combines computer vision, deep learning, and real-time video analysis to:
🔍 Detect bird presence near wind turbines, including rare or protected species
🛫 Track flight paths and behavior to predict potential collision risks
⚡ Provide alerts and data for turbine management, allowing operators to temporarily adjust turbine activity to minimize bird strikes
